Bedminster Eye & Laser is Now Offering EyecareLive!

The recent COVID-19 pandemic has “opened our eyes” to the fact that seeing us in the office is not always possible. Now you can have a virtual visit with our doctors using the EyecareLive app. Bedminster Eye has always been committed to providing you with the best care possible; we are now equally committed to providing convenient telehealth access to care to our patients when possible [appropriate].

  • When to use EyeCareLive
    Non-emergent conditions like red eye, pink eye, red eyelid, stye, irritation
  • Follow up visits for contact lenses, dry eye, post op exams and more – when appropriate and approved by your doctor
  • Monitoring conditions remotely
  • Send and receive secure messages from our doctors

Step ONE – Download the App

Open your smart phone’s camera and point it at the QR code below. This will guide you directly to the EyeCareLive application.

You may also search for the free “EyecareLive” app in the App Store or Google Play on your smartphone or tablet. *Available for iPhone 6S or higher and Android 9.0 or higher.

Step TWO – Begin Registration

Register for your account by providing your full name and your email address, and then create a password. Be sure to allow EyecareLive to have access to the camera and microphone so that you will be able to communicate with the doctor.

Step THREE – Connecting with our Doctors

Search for Bedminster Eye & Laser Center – or search for the specific doctor you wish to see. You can search by each doctor’s name or by their unique doctor code;

Step FOUR – Starting the Consultation

Select See a Doctor Now under Consultations.
You will be asked to select a payment type. For now, you can select Concierge visit. You will then be asked to update your Personal information (i.e. address, phone number, email, etc.). Hit Save and then Continue.

**Going forward you will be asked to update your account with your insurance and credit card information. These instructions can be found at the end of this instruction sheet

Step FIVE – Select Your Visit Type

After updating your Personal information, you will be asked to select the type of consultation you need – why do you need to see the doctor?

Step SIX – Start the Consultation

Now you can begin your consultation! Simply describe the symptoms you are experiencing, record an audio message, and/or send photos and videos directly to the doctor. When finished, select Next to schedule your telehealth visit.

Step SEVEN – Scheduling a Time to Meet

This screen allows you to select the date and time you wish to speak with the doctor. You may be asked to complete an Eye Test prior to your virtual consultation, which can be found here. You can also directly message us at any time by clicking Message My Doctor.
Be sure to hit Confirm Appointment. You will then receive a confirmation of your telehealth appointment with the doctor you have selected and the date and time you chose.
You will also need to indicate that you agree to use telemedicine. Hit Yes.

Step EIGHT – Your Virtual Visit

Your doctor will call you via the app during your scheduled time unless otherwise communicated.

How to Complete the Registration
Select My Account by clicking on the upper left-hand corner menu. You will then need to complete your Personal Information, including address and cell phone number. You will also be asked to provide your Payment Information and Insurance Information. Please be aware that all billable services we will be submitted to your insurance. You will be responsible for copays and coinsurance.
You will also need to provide your Medical Information including your family history, medication, and lifestyle questions.
